Pho Tay Do in Richmond

Failed to tell me all prices on the menu have increased until I asked after paying. No apologies for the inconvenience. Terrible business practice. They also don't ever give you a receipt and always round up for tax. Every time I've been there, my total is an exact dollar amount like $32.00 or $17.00 or $24.00 (been several times). Is that even legal??

Cash only. The Pho is pretty good. Not the best I've had, but tasty. Staff is prompt and friendly. There's a couple of weird paintings on the wall of provocative women. Ha. Not sure what's up with that, but a nice experience overall.

They have prices on the menu that are much lower than what they put on the bill. I went there twice before realizing this and they basically scammed $20 from me

Fresh and delicious vietnamese food. The decor is a little eclectic and the staff is friendly, helpful, and quick. The food is packed with flavor and presented well. There are chopsticks at every table and you will have to ask for silverware. This place only accepts cash so make sure you plan accordingly.

Don’t judge a restaurant by it’s look. The food here is amazing and one of the few that I will certainly come back more often. The portions are more than enough. Price is very reasonable, and service is excellent.

A tiny hidden gem off broad street. Great pho! Great everything. Wonderful service. Odd hours, but an ambiance and meal worth finding the time to visit!

Super delicious noodle broth. They developed the broth really well. This is reason why they don’t give you plenty soup in your bowl, because the cost of your dish is the broth. We have been in so many phõ restaurants, but Pho Tay Do is one of the best. This is our second time here. Definitely come back!

Not much I can say that has not already been said. Fantastic food and value, great service. #9 add meatballs is a strong order. Worth noting: on the smaller side so gets crowded, limited parking, CASH ONLY, no alcohol, look for blue house on left heading towards Broad (sign is easy to miss)

Droooool........... Even now that Pho Luca's opened on Cary street walking distance from my house I still drive out to get the best Pho in RVA

Wow, this little shack on a side street offers really great Pho, pork rolls, rice dishes and more. I just arrived home from Hanoi 3 days ago and was craving some more authentic pho and was pleasantly surprised. Not as good as street side pho in Hanoi but the closest to it you are likely to get in Richmond VA. Very affordable as well but CASH ONLY.
